Bowenwork is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that supports the whole body and re-educates the dysfunctional muscular and postural tension patterns. The practitioner uses minimal intervention in order to stimulate the body’s ability to heal itself. Bowenwork can be done on skin or through clothing. You will learn a comprehensive system that will enable you to aid recovery from a wide range of internal and musculo-skeletal conditions. You will learn procedures that balance the body as well as address specific areas of the body. In Module 2 you will learn Hamstring, Shoulder, Respiratory and Cramp procedure and a review of Module 1. There will be demonstrations of each procedure, detailed explanations of anatomical landmarks, instruction in the procedures and indications for use, extensive supervised hands-on practice and feedback from the instructor. This is the first module in a series of seven.
All Bowenwork students must complete Modules 1-7 in order to become a certified Bowenwork Practitioner. Module 2 is worth 16 CEUs.
